Why we are Here...

December of 2005, 5 years ago Tonyandjohngarcia.com came to be. To think it started out as a family website to do with my kids, our home state of Connecticut and a mini-directory of sorts so friends and family could find things to buy like gifts, furniture or even baby clothes websites I thought people would like while visiting the site were included. I am figuring I did it more because I had started an SEO job dealing with reciprocal links for client websites starting in February 2005. Whatever though, here we are 5 years laters, 8-10 design changes, transitions from a basic directory to what we are today and enjoying great ranks for sick terms in all the search engines but mainly Google.

As was the case back in 2005 we were always looking to add websites of real individuals for the most part looking to deal with a real person when submitting their website to one of countless directory websites on the web. I can admit that the majority of directories we submit to are JUNK. Filled with dead links, google and other type of ad revenue sites and just stuff that doesn't belong. Where are the updates people?

That is not to say there is not a good selection out there being updated regularly by real people like myself. They are "few and far between" but there are good webmasters out there with you the webmaster and website owner in mind. Surely there is Almost always an ulterior motive as you want to assume nobody gives anything truly for free whether they charge YOU or not. In our case here at Tonyandjohngarcia.com and all affiliated directory websites we are (I am) truly out to help webmasters and website owners as mentioned above. I will not link to junk websites that can not provide you the visitor products or information clearly placed on a website and not surrounded by junk ads they know most people will click on not knowing.

We are an online shopping and business type directory that offers free link exchange submissions for one of dozens of categories relevant in some way to your industry. We do still have a section dedicated to our home state of Connecticut and get lots of visitors to the pages because of good ranks. Tonyandjohngarcia.com is meant FIRST to please those truly shopping online, second of course would be for the webmaster looking for a truly human-edited shopping directory to have their website listed and have the link count at some point.
